How can I create a timelines with only certain tasks?

I want to create a timeline for some filtered tasks. For eg. a timeline for all the tickets that are marked as selected for development AND tasktype=Task AND Team responsible='web'.

Is it possible to do so in Jira?

Have you tried the inbuilt roadmap in your project? The most important thing is to have a start and end date and then visualise it somewhere.

I would say start with the project roadmap which only works for issues from one project. For doing that across projects you would need Advanced Roadmaps or some app.
