How can I create in-line issues in the roadmap?

When creating an issue from the backlog view, I have no problem with the in-line creation. All i need to do is type the summary, hit enter, and the issue creates in-line.

However, when I create an issue in the roadmap view, when I hit enter the modal pops up for creating an issue instead of creating it in-line.

I verified I do not have other required fields for that specific issue type that would force the modal to open for me to add them before it creates, so I do not know what would be causing the difference in behavior between the backlog 'create' and the roadmap 'create.'

I actually think i figured this out on my own. I modified the Default Field Configuration to a different scheme and now I am able to create in-line issues in my roadmap. Apparently, when you create from the roadmap, it uses the default field config instead of the issue type field config that the backlog uses.
