How can I disable the Speech recognition option in rich text editor?

Hello there,

I have a requirement to disable the speech recognition option available in the rich text editor. Is there any way to achieve this? Any help/hint will be greatly appreciated.

This feature is not available in the version of Confluence6.3 server I used

If you are system administrator, you can try to find this in Manage add-ons and disable it.

I am a system admin for our jira instance, but i don't want to disable the entire rich text editor.

Ollie means that this speech function is being provided by an add-on, it's not part of the editor.

You should find that add-on in manage add-ons and disable it - it won't affect the rest of the editor.
