How can I display thumbnails of attachments in the filter results?

When viewing issues from a issue filter, I want to view thumbnails of the attachments associated with each issue. Is there currently a way to do this by adding the Attachments field to the filter list results? This would be incredibly useful for creative companies utilizing JIRA to manage their graphical content.
