How can I filter tasks from Jira Tempo Timesheet? Specifically, DONE tasks.

Recording time in Temp is more burdensome as older tasks clutter up the timesheet. How can we remove DONE tasks from the timesheet?

Hi @Casey Baumiller ,

As far as I know, there's no easy way to do so. You could construct a JQL/filter which you can then add to "Filter by" part when generating or updating a report.

However, why couldn't simple period configuration work here? (see official docs)
I mean, usually, you would like to generate a report of logged time by a specific period and this would also include completed items.

What would be your use case that would require excluding specific done tasks?

Thank you for the response. 

I am not concerned about reporting, due to the filterable nature of reports. It's the actual timesheet (in which team members will report time in) that we need to filter out "done" tasks so that there is not an overabundance of tasks in a view. I do not see any options to filter, other than "Assigned".
