How can I filter the Timeline of a Scrum project to view tickets scheduled in different sprints?

Kevin Boyle June 7, 2024

I have sprints visible on my Scrum timeline, but there is not filter for sprints.

The work around I've established is to create releases for each sprint, and then I can filter the timeline on Version.

I have been able to create 2 quick filters:

  1. To view tickets in the current sprint: "Sprint in openSprints()" and
  2. To view tickets in all future sprints: "Sprint in futureSprints() OR Sprint is EMPTY AND status != Done"

Are there better ways to filter the Timeline by which sprint tickets are assigned to?

Hi @Kevin Boyle

Welcome to our Community.

If you're running scrum within a single scrum team, you can see all the issues easily or directly from the Timeline because the sprints are in sequential order in the Timeline.

Thank you. We have so many items in our backlog I am trying to filter out the rows the aren’t relevant.
