How can I find which file I used to do bulk import of issues

glukowski August 21, 2023

Hi, Yesterday I did an import of issues, and I am now unsure of which file I used. Is it possible to find that? If yes, how. Thank you very much. Best, Greg

HI @glukowski -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

My guess is there is no way to do this from inside of Jira Cloud.

Have you considered inverting your question:

  • look for your recently created issue(s) in Jira for that import,
  • identify what is unique about the issues (e.g. Summary), and
  • then search your file system using that unique information to find the source import file.

Kind regards,
Bill

I haven't used a Mac OS in decades so I could not answer that for you.  I recommend looking at their user community (or web search) for how to search file contents for text on Mac OS.
