Hi,

what is best gadget to get an visual overview about (= horizontal bars?) about

estimated time for assigned users of all issues in a sprint?

User 1 ---------------->

User 2  --------->

User 3   ----------------------------------------------> (estimated time of assigned issues)

+----------------------------------------------------------------------------------> spint time

Sprints are all about team commitment, so the estimations are rolled up to the sprint level, not by assignee. Each individual works the highest pioritity task in the todo column until all are done. Stories should not be assigned ahead of time, and assigned when they are picked up.

This is not an agile/scrum best practice and there is no gadget with horizontal bar to visualize this info.  You can check out the two dimensional statistics gadge or use a piechart to visualise workload.

If you want the information afterwards the workload pie chart and sprint based filters would show you estimates for individuals. You can also use Jamie's Script Runner plugin and the "aggregateExpression" JQL function, but that would not address the agile planning/work views.

check this addon:

My 2 cents: Forget it, it will blow up in your face. This is a bad practice and will ruin your team.

Hi,

what I want is, to detect a misconfigured sprint while creating and before activating it.

  • I have 3 members in a team
  • I have 100 assigned issues in backlog (assignment is to single user not to teams)
  • when I add 15 issues to my sprint and all are assigned to same user then
    • 2 members are without work
    • 1 member has to much work
    • sprint planning with this 15 issues will become unrealistic

For me this is a simple requirement which should be very helpful while creating sprints. Isn't it?
