Hello community,
In our scrum project we're using the Kanban board with the following statuses:
What happens is the following: The development team finish the task and sends it to QA ("In QA" status), but QA doesn't move the task until a build is created and they have time to test it. Then it goes to "QA approved" and once it's merged into the product it's when the tasks goes to "Done". It takes a while since a finished task (from the development perspective) goes to "Done"
Problem here: We're estimating everything with story points to track the speed of the team and know what's the capacity we have in the sprint. The problem is that Jira gives us the reports and information with the tasks that go from "To do" to "Done" but to actually know the information of the speed/team capacity I'd like to change it from "To do" to "In QA", so Jira can give us reports like if "In QA" was "Done".
Is it possible to do it or is there any workaround?
Thanks a lot!
Hello @Kian Stack Mumo Systems thanks for you message but we'd like to have the board as it is because we want to see/track the whole process. If a ticket doesn't pass QA it goes back to development so we want to see it all, having "In QA" as the final status is not an option.
We also have "QA approved" so we know that it can be merged to the project, and "Done" to know that it has been merged.
