I have tests in Zephyr Scale linked to Jira Issues and Story's (s the requirements and development tasks).
The Issues and Story's are packaged into 'Releases' within Jira.
A selected 'Release' displays all tickets associated to it.
I need to find a way to list all Zephyr tests linked to those tickets, rather than having to enter each ticket individually, then click on the 'Zephyr Scale' button (at the top of the ticket) which then shows the linked tests.
Please help!
Hi Sam,
We have an extensive filtering option where you will get the list of all the test cases which are associated with your Jira tickets which could be further part of your release along with great traceability report so I would request you to explore QTM4J (QMetry Test Management for Jira) offers Enterprise grade Test Management inside of Jira at most economic pricing with better value offering in the Test Management space.
You can quickly reach out to me at brijesh.patel@qmetry.com or schedule a quick QTM4J Demo call and I would like to take the discussion further.
Regards,
Brijesh Patel.
Thank you for this, but I'm not looking for yet another Add-In / Tool. The linkages are already there between Jira Cloud and Zephyr Scale. I can see linked tests when I go into individual Issues/Story's. What I'm after is a report or filter that shows all tests, for all Issues/Story's that have a defined 'Fix Version' (a Release). Do you know how to do this?

You should be able to do this with a Zephyr Scale report. Go into the plug-in, navigate to Reports, select the "Test execution results (list)" report, and to the criteria add your project, and select the Custom Query filter. In that filter either enter under the Test Case > Linked Issues section the list of Jira Issue IDs (you'll have to enter them manually by number - no need to use the prefix), or, use the Test Execution > Linked Issues section and choose Has Linked Issues Is True. For the latter option to work you'll need to have your test cases assigned to test cycles (which will auto create the test execution records you will use to filter in the report).
You can find help and info at the SmartBear community forum here (I'm one of the leaders there): ZS Community

Thank you. I have also raised this as a SmartBear Support ticket (#00564239) with supporting screenshots. I have tried using the report but this approach falls down as I either need to manually enter the ID of each individual Story, Issue or Bug in the s/w release before I can get a list of the tests. Or, using the Test Execution > Linked Issues option, I need to enter in the ID's of test cycles.
I need to run a report based on the 'Fix Version' of a release, which should display all tests that can now be run due to the content (Jira tickets delivered) within that release, irrespective of the status of the test (Not Executed, Failed, Blocked etc.).
There must be a way to get this view.

I'd be very interested to hear what support say if you're in the mood to share.
