How can I include a Jira feature on a Jira dashboard?

My second dashboard question for the day. Thanks for reading. 

I want to include the "Releases" feature on my dashboard. Is there a way to include a link within a gadget to display the results Jira dashboard? What I want to display looks like this:

Here is one suggestion that was closed as won't fix - JSWCLOUD-13586 - As a user I would like to view the Project Release Tab as a gadget
