How can I make JIRA accessible on my local network

tagamaga September 8, 2013

I downloaded JIRA Trial and installed on my machine. It works fine and I've been enjoying the review, my only problem at the moment is that all the users I have invited are failing to connect to my PC. What settings must I change?

Thanks for a seemingly perfect solution

Hi Gary,

You need to make sure that your computer IP address is recheable from other computers in the network and also that there's no Firewall or Proxy preventing users to reach it.

By default, JIRA runs on port 8080 and is accessible from any computer that is connected to the same network as yours.

We changed the ports to 9080 and 9085 and opened the ports from the firewall(we created Inbound and Outbound protocols)
