How can I make mandatory the fixVersion in the closed column?

You can add a transition screen and make sure the fixVersion is mandatory in that transition screen. And this transition screen should be added when the issue goes to closed.

On my JIRA board configurations, I dont see this setting. sad

you have to change the underlying workflow of the project, as the board's workflow is based on the project's workflow
