How can I make the Agile Wallboard Gadget use any Board I have access to?

Hi I'm Jira Administrator at my company and I want to display a bunch of boards using the agile wallboard gadget. However not all boards which I created/ have access to are appearing in the selection screen of any wallboard gadget. Is there something in the permission settings? 

I checked if atlassian-addons-admin and atlassian-project-access can at least administer the missing boards. Is there more I could check?

The wallboard gadget should be displaying all the boards you are able to access.

Board permissions can be basically blocked in two ways:

1 - Project permissions - Ensure that you have been added with the Browse Project permission in the project where the board is allocated.

2- Filter permissions - confirm if the board filter is properly shared for you by performing the steps below:

1. Choose the Jira icon (, , ,  or ) > Jira settings > System
2. Click Shared Filters.
3. Find the filter related to your board and check if it is properly shared with you
