How can I move issues to the backlog?

I have deleted one of the sprints to rebuild the reports. All the issues now exist in the issues page but not in the backlog. Now I want to make a new sprint using the existing issues which are not in the backlog anymore. 

How can I move the issues to my backlog again or add them to a new sprint directly?

Hi @Sara 

I am not completely sure if you've deleted an active or completed sprint; thus, I will give you what is expected to happen in both scenarios:

Deleting a planned or active sprint

• When you delete a planned or active sprint, all of the sprint's issues will move to the next sprint in the list.
• If there isn't another sprint available, they'll go to the backlog instead.
• If you delete an active sprint, those issues will keep their status.

Deleting a completed sprint

• When you delete a completed sprint from the Sprint reports screen, completed issues will not be moved to the backlog
• The Sprint field can be updated from the Issue Edited view or in bulk using the Search for issues.

Hi Alex, 

Thank you for taking the time answering to my the question. Fortunately, my sprint was active and I was able to bring back them from the backlog.

Is there anyway I can bring back the tasks with the "done" status? They are not in the backlog anymore.

Oh yes, absolutely!

You can update the Sprint field from the Issue view.

Or in bulk, using the Search for issues.
