How can I see story points per column? Or on backlog overview for none active sprints?

Hello,

I am desperately trying to figure out if there is a way to...

1) See story points per column?
Currently I can only see number of tickets per column which doesn't do much really as all of my tickets have different weights. See screenshot below:

1) See story points in sprint overview (backlog)

Currently I can only see it if a sprint is active, however it would be good to know before a sprint is active to do a good job planning the right amount of tickets for the team.

Hi @lisa,

Regarding your first question, it is not possible to see the total number of story points in an active sprint for each column separately. There is an old feature suggestion for it in the backlog, but not much movement there: JSWCLOUD-12495.

In the backlog view, you should be able to see the number of story points in your sprint. This requires you to use Story Points as the estimation statistic of your board. To activate that, navigate to Board Settings / Estimation and select story points, as you can see here:

Once you've done that, you should see story point estimates for every issue in your sprint and a total number of points in to do / in progress / done statuses:
