How can I stop Jira/my browser popping up suggestions

I am using MS edge browser with Jira on cloud (not that it matters for this as Chrome does the same)

When I type in a filter query, Jira/Browser is constantly popping up suggestions, meaning when I hit return/enter it selects the annoying popup entry and doesnt apply the filter search. I have to constantly keep hitting escape to close the pop up so I can then hit return, this is incredibly annoying.

Does anyone know how to stop the suggestion popup appearing in Jira when typing in a filter search ?

I have the same exact behavior in our Jira instance. Hitting Enter goes with the Jira suggestions.

I don't think there is anything that can be done to it
