So, I am trying to understand if confluence can be used for the following:
I want to create a "base" user guide that holds information on all the product functionalities.
Then, for some projects, we would want to tailor the guide, re-using only parts of the "base" guide, and adding / editing it to include the customized features.
Is this something confluence offer?
I have played with copy paste functionality, yet that results with a lot of editing. I am looking to have some sort of a menu / checkbox to say which features (pages?) I want to re-use, and re-use only them.
Suggestions?
Have you found any solution for this issue. Because I am also playing with the copy past of the funtionality for my golf grips business. But that need alot of time to do changes and editing in it.

Ok. I read about it, and it seems interesting, and I will try it.
However, it will force me to keep each function on a separate page (as I can only display one Excerpt macro from a page) and I am not sure how easy it will be to create the new page with all the excerpt macros on it.
In case you have additional suggestion, please let me know

I haven't played with it myself, but it seems like the best option from the built in macros to keep a centralized source of truth for your content. There may be additional options in the marketplace.
