How can I tell how much time is left between the Assigned Date and Due Date?

I have two columns, one is an assigned date and the other is a due date, how can I tell if the due date is outstanding or how many days are left?

I don't know you're use case (looking in JQL, needing to display it, etc) but I think you may well need to create a calculated custom field to do that. If you don't have it in your instance Jira Misc Custom Fields makes it pretty easy to put that together. That way you could get the field to display on screen and also be a searchable value.
