How can I use the same screen for a standard issue type and a subtask issue type?

We have a Test standard issue type and created a "Test Sub-Task" sub-task issue type and we'd like to use the same UI screen that has multiple tabs for both issue types.

Issue type schemes were updated but we cannot seem to get the same screen displaying for the sub-task issue type.

First you should add the new subtask issue type to your issue type scheme.

After that, you should set the same screen scheme for both standard issue type and subtask issue type in the related issue type screen scheme that your project uses.

Above configuration can be done only by Jira Administrators.

Note that you may still find some differences if you have used fields that are specific to issue types.

The security level field does not apply to subtasks for example, or, more importantly, the context for a custom field might say "I am on Stories, but not sub-tasks"
