How can I validate that all linked issues have a Components field val, before transitioning an epic?

In my workflow I would like to prevent users from transitioning an epic, unless all linked issues contain an entry in their Components field.

I am not seeing any validator for this. Can this be done?

Hi Victor - no, not possible out of the box. You can also use the Marketplace Apps for Automation for Jira or JMWE.

as far i know this is not achieved without a 3rd party add-on. you can try script-runner (commercial) or MyGroovy (free) then you can add a custom script validator to verify all linked issues has component value assigned
