How can associate an available context to no custom fields?

Patricia Vargas November 28, 2012

Actually I have the field "<label for="versions">Affects Version/s"</label>. This field don't allow to associate an available context (specific Issue Types), and for this reason, this field is displaying whenever that I create a new ticket, but I need that this field is displayed only when I select a specific issue type. Is possible?

The Affects Version field is [Autocomplete Renderer] issue type and is not a custom field.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, it's in field configurations - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Specifying+Field+Behaviour

Or you could use different screens for the issue types, but that's a little more complex.

Have a read through the doc I've given, and if you can't get it to work, let us know why.
