Hi everyone,
we are using Jira to track our bugs but also stories, requirements and other type if issues.
At the moment externals can report an issue via mail and based on the information an internal project member creates a bug ticket.
To improve the process we want externals provide the possibility to create a bug ticket without having to give them access to our jira board.
Can you please tell me some ways to implements this?
Some ideas that came in my mind (not sure if possible)
1. Implement website and using Jira API (Need some time)
2. Jira Service Desk
3. Can Confluence be used?
4. Can access be granted that externals can only create tickets?
Hi Marcel ,
It will better to fullfill your requirements needs to add issue collector in jira .
-: Jira service management will more better rather than using issue collector.
-: yes , you can integrate confluence with jira to get the page .
Hi Marcel!
There is Issue Collectors that you can use for externals create issues on your project. Here's the documentation of it: Use the issue collector
Also, here it is a video from the great Ravi Sagar about it: Jira Admin - How to create Issue Collectors?
Hope to help you with these informations.
