How can i change the status of issues using java and eclipse ?

Im looking forward to automate the process of jira issue resolution transitions based on my test execution result.

we are using Java and eclipse. Any help would be apprecieated.

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve.

If you want to develop a custom application, then you can use Jira Rest Api in your java application.
