There is a filter named "Assigned Date" in column view of jira. However when I tick the option, I do not see any assigned date of the tickets. Is there a way to get the assigned date in the view?

The Assigned Date field is a custom field. It is empy, that is why you can not see any value. You should set a value to this field for each issue first. After it you should be able to see the value.
