How can i reduce the import duration

It takes a lot of time to import issues via à csv file in my instance (700 issue in 1 hour )

I believe, this depends on:

1. Size (RAM) of your instance,
2. How much memory has been allocated to JIRA
3. And at what time of the day are you importing the issues. During the day, import would be slow as lot of users would be accessing the JIRA application, right?
4. Also, the issues that are being imported, how frequently do you import them? Are there any conditions, validations or post-functions in the workflow for this issue type?

There are lot of factors to be considered and analyzed in order to improve the import speed.
