How can i track users that have logged in the last 90 days

pbsbrunmayr November 7, 2018

We have a self hosted JIRA ( 6.2.7 ) and a licence for 50 users. How can i track or query which users have logged in or have been active in the last 90 days.

The reason i need this is due the fact we have intregrated auhtentication via LDAP and there is no filter defined so i see all users from the whole directory in the user management. Currently these are over 4000 entries and i don't know which of them are actualle really using our JIRA.

Thx

Yes, in User Management you have last login details. For 50 users you should be able to handle that data manually but for 4000 I understand the pain...

If you cannot to this manually from User Management you might try getting this directly from your database

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/retrieve-last-login-dates-for-users-from-the-database-363364638.html

There are also plugins that can give you that option (to see last activity and show how is active or not) for example - Admin Tools for Jira (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212785/admin-tools-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview) or User Management for Jira (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215285/user-management-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview)
