How can i use the NextGen project which is newly available in JIRA to update the Jira Kanban board? How can i update the swim lanes and states in
the swim lanes beyond what is available in classic JIRA projects?

Swimlanes are not available for the next-gen boards.

Hello, @Alexey Matveev so there is no means I can use boards in next-gen projects in a better way than existing classic projects?

Thanks for your instant reply @Alexey Matveev . We have a new board type for Next gen project which is neither kanban nor scrum. can we use kanban / scrum boards for next gen projects?? is that option available?

By default it is a kanban board. But you can enable sprints there (projects settings -> Features -> Sprints)
