How can one get the admin rights for a SANDBOX JIRA?

I asked for this SANDBOX becase I was not granted Admin rights to the main instance. 

Is it even possible to get Admin rights only to the sandbox only? Is it merely so that one is Atlassian tenant admin or not, including both instances (the production one and the sandbox)?

Welcome to the Community! To gain admin rights to Sandbox you will need to request permission from your organisation's super admin. I'd also recommend reading this Jira support article on Managing Product Sandboxes.

Thx for the answer. Got the access from my super admin, and have full playing rights in our sandbox now!
