How can we add checks in Automation rule?

Hi All,

I have created an automation rule for Task.

When: Issue transitioned

From

Open

to

Inprogress

Issue Type equals

Task

Then: Create a new

Subtask

Here I need to add a check before creating Subtask, automation should check is there any subtask already available. If already available it should not create any Subtask. If there is no Subtask parent with Task then It should create Subtask. How can I add this?

Thanks,

Hi @Pathan Zubair Khan

You can use the Related issues condition to check if there are any sub-tasks available - by selecting Sub-tasks and then 'Are not present', the action beneath this condition will only be executed if there are no sub-tasks present on the triggering issue
