How can we enable our customers to request and vote for new functionality

Can we enable our customers to request and vote for new functionality, or do we need to use another product like https://www.uservoice.com/

Oddly, Atlassian have an issue tracker for users to ask for new features (and report problems).  See https://jira.atlassian.com

Another example is Bitbucket https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues , so seems to be possible, just that have not been able to do it via configuration.
