How can we find average Velocity

Hi Team,

Is there a chart or report that shows us the Average Velocity. How many sprints should we look at as a Standard or Best Practices to calculate Average Velocity?

The short answer is that you cannot do this in JIRA Cloud, out of the box, yet.

There are probably marketplace add-ons to show the average velocity...but they not match what your team needs.  For example, when your team is very stable in delivery, watching average velocity may not help you find ways to improve.  Instead pause and consider why you want to monitor that measure and what you will do with the information.  Where does the team need help, and what should you measure to see progress in that area?
