We would like to colour code different issue types e.g. Done = Green

Please can you tell me how to install the plug in on JIRA Cloud?

Oh, sorry! I did not notice the cloud tag in your question. This plugin is not compatible with JIRA Cloud. If this is a important feature for you, I would recommend to create a 'Feature Request' to the developers in http://jira.atlassian.com/
