How do I add issue to Epic with full details (not just enter title of task)?

Using the new interface.

When I am viewing an epic and use the + icon to add a new issue, it just gives me a single-line text field to name the epic.

Used to be, I'd click the plus next to the list of epic tasks, and that'd pop up the full Create Task window, where I could set the priority, assign it and enter the description.

Now I have to create the issue via the one-line interface. Then click on that to edit it. Then edit/change the assignee. Then edit/enter the description.

Is there a way to get it to give me the full dialog when adding new tasks to an epic? This is cumbersome and slow.
