How do I add the Due Date field when creating an issue?

Hi there, 

My team recently switched from a business project to software project (kanban board.) When doing so, the due date field is no longer there when creating an issue. Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to fix that. I have literally tried everything.Thanks!

@Susan Gearou , It look like you are using Jira server.  The easiest way to get the DueDate field to appear on Issue Creation is to make sure it’s Added to the Create Screen.  Here’s a doc from Atlassian that can explain it better than I can. :)
