How do I apply epic-level field changes to the subtasks of tasks attached to the epic

Hi! I've successfully automated the update of task fields when an epic field is changed. I am struggling to also update the same field in the subtasks of the tasks attached to the epic. 

I've been exploring the branch automation feature, but cannot identify a type of related issue that pertains to the subtasks of attached tasks. 

Any assistance is really appreciated :)

Hi @Sarah Coles 

You will probably need two rules to do this:

1. your rule to push epic changes to their children (e.g. tasks)
2. a parallel rule which detects the change in tasks, passing that on to their sub-tasks

For the new #2 rule, check the option in the rule details to "Allow rule trigger".  That will permit the actions of #1 rule to fire off #2 rule.
