How do I change the category of a project?

I have added a project to a previously created category. I need to move the project from the category that it is associated to to another category. I cannot figure a simple way to do that. Is there something obvious that I am missing and what steps should I take to change the category a project is in? Thanks.

It's in the project header details. Go to <project> administration, and look at the top line (Key, Lead, Category, url, edit project, actions). Click the category link

It's inconsistent and non-obvious in my opinion. The other links on that line all go to information about the items they represent, the category goes to an "edit" box. There's nothing to indicate category is different from the others, and frankly, it should be either in the box "edit project" pops up, or indicated by a pencil icon next to the category.
