How do I close out issues?

Stephanie McCargar June 4, 2018

All issues in the last sprint were closed with time estimates on them. A few of them actually closed when I closed the Sprint this morning but a few of them showed up in my new Sprint when I started it this morning. My workflow is set to change the issue to Resolution when Done is chosen, some of the issues have open linked issues, but one of them doesn't - so I can't figure out the pattern on why these closed issues came over from the prior sprint? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

Stephanie

Hello,

Thank you, but all the issues were marked as status "closed" and in the last column of the board before I "closed" the Sprint and "started" the new Sprint. They are still marked as closed and in the last column of board, but for some reason are not crossed out and I don't know why JIRA would drag them into the new Sprint.

Hello,

Only issues in the last column in the board are considered to be closed. If you do not want an issue to move to antoher sprint, the issue must be in the last right column in the board.
