How do I connect Jira and Hive?

How do I connect Jira and Hive?

The app will not allow me to Install it. I have been in contact with Hive, Dish & now you guys to get this connection made. Thanks for the support!

Hi @Joshua Hultman,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Are you using Jira Data Center/Server or Jira Cloud? The easiest way to check it is to look at your URL, if it is https://<company>.atlassian.net you are on Cloud, if it does not contain atlassian.net then you are on Data Center/Server. The app that Hive has only works on Cloud.

It appears that I need a Jira admin to install the Hive app on my behalf. I am not a Jira admin. I am however a Hive admin.

Yes, any apps that needs to be added to Jira has to be done by an admin.

Unfortunately, I do not know who that is. I am looking internally at this point.
