We have four priority levels in JIRA: High, Medium, Low, and Lowest. We want to delete one of the priority levels, specifically the "Lowest." Could you please assist us?
Hi @IT Support ,
Priorities in Jira Cloud are stored at an instance level. In order to view these settings, you will need to have the Jira Product Administrator privileges for the instance you are trying to modify.
If you already have these permissions, you can find all priority settings by clicking the Cog in the top right, and then Issues. At the bottom of the left navigation menu, you should find "Priorities". Here, you can add, edit, or delete any existing priority.
Before you delete an existing priority, I recommend running a JQL query against your full environment to ensure that all issues with that priority get updated.
Atlassian is also working on support for Piroirty Schemes in Cloud, where you can have a specific list of priorities for a given project. This is currently in Early Access, so it may not be available on your instance.
Here are some links you can review from Atlassian Documentation:
Hope this helps!

Hi @IT Support , as a Jira Admin you can navigate to Settings (gear) > Issues > Priority Schemes and click the Actions (...) link to edit the applicable priority scheme(s). If you want to remove the "Lowest" priority from ALL projects, then navigate to Issues > Priorities and click the trash can to delete that priority. Hope that helps!
