How do I delete multiple fields

Due to network issue, I kept on clicking on Submit button which eventually created too many duplicate fields which went into 100s in number. Now I am finding difficult to delete them one by one as it is a very time consuming activity. Also the system did not warn me for duplicate fields getting created. Please advise if the duplicate created fields can be deleted at one go.

There are a few cleanup tools but so far the easiest way to process these things for me is to use the Rest API
