How do I disable reports in Jira?

Hugo January 18, 2019

Hello,

we have a 7.13 Jira server setup.

Is there any way to disable the reports feature or at least make them not visible?

Thx,

Michael

Hello - It is not recommended but you could disable reports in the Administration > Add-ons > Manage apps and filter for System add ons. Depending on your version, it may be named differently but mine is Atlassian Jira - Plugins - Core Reports.

You could disable the specific modules related to the reports... I would not recommend doing this because JIRA Core states  - "These apps are integral parts of your JIRA system. They cannot be uninstalled. Disabling them will have serious effects, and could make JIRA inoperable. Only make changes here if instructed by Atlassian Support."

I hope this is helpful! Thanks!

When I supported IBM mainframes the manual said 'Results will be unpredictable' which also meant if you did it they wouldn't support you.
