How do I disable Jira and Confluence automatically changing all of my single and double quotes to smart/curly ones?
I don't want to have to press ctrl-z every time I type one, and I don't want to have to wrap everything in "this is code" tags.
I just want what I typed to stay the way I typed it.

Are you sure it is Atlassian doing it and not just a function of your browser? Does that happen on other sites?
