How do I easily convert a Jira-created PDF to Excel?

Once a week I (and many other people) get a certain PDF report from another team. I cannot access their JIRA board, so I cannot see the data, just the PDF report. I need this as an Excel file, not as a PDF file, but since I am just one of many recipients they will only send the report in PDF.

I have tried many converting tools and they are all letting me down because JIRA has a weird structure in their PDF files that doesn't seem to be very clear to other programs. That is why I have had to copy paste my way through this every week.

Is there a faster way?

I would really appreciate it, it's such a pain.

Hi @Svenja Stöhr ,

Since you are receiving the report from another team, have you considered asking them to send you an Excel file instead of a PDF? Jira allows for export in csv format out of the box and having them deliver the format you need, would save you any additional hassle.
