How do I edit the fields in an Epic Panel on my backlog?

I have a next gen project, and I enabled the Epic Panel.  But I want different fields that what is there.  How can I change these to have different fields?

Thank you for reaching out to Community!

The Epic panel on the backlog shows the start and due date only. It's not possible to edit the fields that appear on the panel. To view other fields, click on "View more details" to open the Epic on the right side of the backlog page.

Hi Laura,

If you got to Project Settings and then Issue Types, then select Epic on the left hand side. 

Can you change the fields there?
