How do I ensure all bugs, stories and tasks get created with 0 story points?

Everytime my QA or development team creates a bug or a subtask in the sprint, the issue defaults to 1 story point. This messes up my burn down charts and even if I reduce those story points manually, it still creates a spike in my charts.

Are there any suggestions on how to ensure that all issues get set to 0 story tasks?

I am using the Jira Classic Project.

Hi Shyam - you should be able to add a Post Function to the Create transition to set the story points field = 0. This should override anything that gets put in there at create time.
