How do I filter out previous assignees which are affecting the current reults in the heat map and pi

the heat maps and pie chart continue to show assignees that are no longer involved in projects, and doesn't seem to allow a date range to be set so as to show current information.  How do I fix this.    :)

These gadgets simply report on the issues that you ask them to, and look at assignee because you've told them to.

What you probably need to do is look at the filter behind them, and the data on those issues.  A really simple example would be "show me all the issues in the project", so you'd have a filter for "project = XYZ".  This is going to report on all the assignees, whether they are still here or not (people tend to leave the assignee alone on issues that are finished with, even when they may have left).

So, you'll probably want to either

• Adjust the filter so that it doesn't include issues that have been completed 
• Reassign the issues to active users, even though that makes reporting on who did what harder
