We notice that when we put an issue to status CANCELLED which is associated to no column in the Scrum board, then the ticket is still mentioned in any newer sprint in the Agile section on the right. We want to know how to prevent this happening as we do not want cancelled tickets to count in the velocity of the sprints AFTER this ticket has been cancelled in a sprint.
Does the issue get a resolution when you add it to status CANCELLED?
I.e. is it still unresolved (not having any resolution value)
