How do I get my stack rank in agile plan view to be reflected in the agile work view?

I created a sprint and organized all the stories in a stack rank with highest priority on top and lowest priority on bottom. When I go into the work view this is not reflected in the order of the stories. How do I get these two views to show the same rank order?

I checked the board configuration and it says "Using Rank". However, in the Plan view I stacked the issues 190, 280, 256, etc. and the work view does not reflect this. Does the addition of subtasks to stories nulify the stack rank? If so, can this be corrected?

Do you have some other ranking defined in the board?

When you go to the board > Work > Configure > Filter > Ranking

It should say: Using Rank
