How do I import project using file named activeobjects.xml?

Angela McMinemon September 22, 2015

I have two backup files - entities.xml and activeobjects.xml.  I am trying to import a project into a new instance of JIRA.  Request to import  entities.xml seems to have worked but when I try to import activeobjects.xml I get the following error msg:

"There was a problem parsing the backup XML file at C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\JIRA\import\activeobjects.xml: The XML document does not contain the <entity-engine-xml> root element or it was closed too early."

Thanks,

Angela

You can't.  Prior to JIRA 7.0, there is no support for including active objects data in a project import.

See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-28748
